Destination: 2015

It's already 2015, and well we aren't getting any younger.

I'm not going to be able to travel as much as I did last year so I'm trying to figure out the one place I have to go to before the end of 2015.

I'm a little stumped because I want to go somewhere different than all my other vacations. So I decided to turn to Google.
I found this cool magazine Travel and Leisure that suggested 50 of the best places to visit in 2015.

Here's a few that stood out.

1. Milan, Italy

Milan would be an amazing adventure. From the authentic pasta, pizza, museums, to the italian country side. Sounds like a pretty awesome time to me. Not to mention, seeing Piazza del Duomo in person would be great.

2. Cuba

I've always wanted to visit Cuba at some point in my life. I think it's because it was something that wasn't allowed up until recently. Now US citizens are able to travel into Cuba through a certain process. I definitely want to look into this more... I'm probably not the only one who wants authentic Cuban cigars.

3. Orlando, Florida

I wasn't going to mention anywhere in the US because I'd rather travel somewhere outside the states.
But then I saw the words "Disney World" and I was sold. In 2014, I went to Disneyland for the first time in my life and after that I got an annual pass and went more than 20 times.
I think it's about time I take a trip to Disney World.
Also.... Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Need I say more?

Not feeling any of these? Check out the full list here at Travel + Leisure to find where you'd like to go. Enjoy!

Inspiration: The Gentleman Blogger

In 2012, Matthew Zorpas launched his personal blog The Gentleman Blogger.

Matthew's first post was about his decision to begin his blog. In his post he said his blog would be "dedicated to his lifestyle, street style, shopping secrets, and will highlight events, places and exhibitions."

He also went on to say "I hope that [TGB] will inspire you to visit places that you haven't been before, to taste something different or wear something that you never had the courage to wear."

Which I feel does perfectly. I have been following his blog since the beginning of 2014 and I really enjoy reading his blog.
He is from Rio De Janeiro, but frequently traveling around the world to cover major events and experience new things.

He is currently in New York City for a collaboration with Pal Zileri, which is a clothing line that specializes in men's suits. How fitting. (No pun intended)

In 2014 he really began to become more popular in the blogosphere, and began collaborating more with high fashion houses such as Dries Van Noten, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, and many more.

In January, he attended Milan Fashion Week. He went to the Fendi Autumn/Winter 2015 fashion show and he wrote about the experience. The title of his post was Mr. Fendi, for obvious reasons of course. The show and collection was really good, and I definitely agree with his thoughts.

Check out the blog for yourself, and give me your thoughts below!

When in Seattle...

If you ever find yourself in Seattle Washington, you'll have to stay at the best hotel in town. Hotel Five of course!

Formally known as Hotel Five - A Piece of Pineapple Hospitality, is located in the heart of Belltown. Minutes away from all major tourist attractions in Seattle.

The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is in walking distance. Only 5 minutes away from downtown Seattle, where there's tons of places to shop. 10 minutes away from the iconic Seattle Space Needle where you can catch killer views of the entire city, the river, and of course Pike place market.

Pike Place is only about 10 minutes from Hotel Five, and it's the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and get some great clam chowder.

Back to the hotel...
If you like staying in a nice affordable "five star" hotel, this is the one! The rates are very affordable for such a cool and trendy hotel.
Here's a view of a typical room at the hotel.

The staff at the hotel are so friendly and really go above and beyond to give quality service to their guests. Room service from Max's Cafe is a must! Max's cafe is the hotel's restaurant and is perfect for breakfast.

The only downside is the hotel was next to this pretty creepy building with a bunch of questionable satanic graffiti on the side, as well as interesting figurines inside... Definitely a sight to see for yourself, or not. When we asked the staff about the building they said that it was "An advertising agency that likes to push the bar".... Hmmm.

Overall, I give the hotel 5 Pineapples out of Five of course. This was definitely one of the best hotel stays i've had while traveling.
Also I forgot to mention that the hotel is pet friendly! So this is the perfect opportunity to take your pup on a vacation with you.
